Hammer satin- had not heard of this before seeing this fabric on Charu in sale collection. Bought it more out of curiosity. But it is the most elegant looking satin. I just loved it so much. So far only made scrunchies, since I want to make something really special with the major part of the fabric. It will surely look very classy. The fabric is really thick as well as flowy, such a nice combination :) it’s a dull finish ( almost like the difference between matte and glossy :) )
Really good fabric and nice print. Was easy to cut and sew. It was transparent (I guess for tie dye the fabric has to be thin fabric only) so I had to use lining for all my projects.
Satin was a little rough quality. Not that super smooth type. But color and sturdiness was good. I made lot of scrunchies with this fabric and they’re pretty good quality. Because it’s a little rough satin, it doesn’t slide off hair that easily, like how it does sometimes with the super smooth type satin. It frayed a lot, so 4 stars.
This fabric was nice, a little transparent since it was white and not too thick. Had to use lining for the top. Print was really nice, looks so good for Western wear. I made a co-ords set with sleevless top and shorts.
This fabric was very eye catching print and nice color. It was soft and easy to sew. Color bled a little bit on wash. Had to use lining as it was a little transparent. Overall great.
Material was a tough cotton almost canvas type. Tough weave. Print was ok, biggest problem was that it had some big bleach like stains. I had purchased in sale, and maybe they gave away the defective piece. I made a baby carrier (called Mei-Tai carrier) with it, the fabric suited my purpose as it was tough and strong and durable.
Fabric was really nice to work with. Thick and smooth to sew on. Made a shawl collar kurta for my mom. Print and color is really gorgeous and eye catching :)
